Not exactly a new addition, more like a new framing. The work is from Pontes, the second one i  post here from him. The first one was a landscape drawing from Porto, and this one's a photograph... speaking of that, sorry about the poor shot i took, glass!

My Art Collection II - New addition (Pocketart)

 A few weeks ago i received a gift from Monsieur enVide, one of is Pocketart pieces. You can follow and learn more at his http://Pocketart.yzonk.com. The cool thing it's the use of QR code so that who ever as contact with the piece, can through a smartphone app access the webpage containing more info about it.

Hummmm... another original piece!

A few days ago i received a nice gift in the mail. Haven't even thanked you, Monsieur enVide... thanks.

I'm trying to replace my works scattered trough the house with some of my personnel collection, trying to frame them also, and that as made me work with a bit of arts & crafts. This was part of a twenty something years old frame.

Anton Gormley, me and Rio de Janeiro

As you can see by the former pics, i went on vacations, first a few days in Paris and then two weeks in Rio de Janeiro, Brasil.

I was fortunate to see the work of Anton Gormley. I've seen it on tv and the web, but, as cool as it is to see art at a museum... to be able to stand near it and be surprised by its presence at the top of the buildings, it's so much awesome.

Fábrica Social - Fundação José Rodrigues II

At the Fábrica Social - Fundação José Rodrigues, i've visited a part of the place witch was intervened by a few street artists. One of them is the portuguese Alexandre Farto aka Vhils, an important name of contemporary street, art turned institutionalized by art museums and art galleries.

And this is me at one of his works...

Last June the 16th, thanks to a friend of mine i went visiting Fábrica Social - Fundação José Rodrigues at O'Porto. Its the home and studio of sculptor  José Rodrigues, and i was able to see it inside out, so here some pictures.

I recommend  who ever has the opportunity to visit the place.
